Autodesk wanted to reach C-Suite contacts within 35 key UK manufacturing accounts. The objective was to instigate senior level conversations and expand the contact base by highlighting how Autodesk solutions help to maintain productivity and build resilient supply chains.

Direct mail was chosen for this targeted campaign for its ability to achieve cut-through. The tailored approach included a bespoke card and letter from the Autodesk Sales Manager containing a QR code to a personalised video. The finishing touch was a custom made, personalised chocolate bar created using subtractive manufacturing technology, powered by Autodesk software. The content was focused on collaboration so each recipient also had the opportunity to nominate their colleagues to receive their own version of the mailer.

The campaign delivered against its objectives, generating five C-Suite conversations (14% conversion rate) and also expanded the contact base by 14%.
