ABOUT
The feminist movement strives for gender equality and justice, encompassing everyone, everywhere. However, its name reflects its roots in addressing the systemic injustices that women have historically faced. With this exhibition, I aim to continue this mission by creating a space that gives a voice to survivors, promotes healing, and encourages open conversations about gender-based violence, resilience, and recovery.
The landscapes, painted from bus and car windows, reflect a feminist reclaiming of space. These fleeting views—blurred horizons and shifting scenes—symbolize survivors’ resilience and agency, subverting the passive gaze of confined spaces. They challenge patriarchal stillness, tying the external world to the strength of lived experience.
