Lord chambray is an exciting beer brand based in beautiful Gozo, Malta.
From the very beginning, it was clear that the great potential was to link the brand to the stunning Maltese archipelago.
While many other beer brands have claimed their connection to a specific location, not all have managed to distil the essence of a place in a bottle.
We were tasked to reposition Lord Chambray and rebrand their identity to convey the richness of their story and the charm of their culture.
Malta is a place where you can immerse yourself in unspoilt beauty and wilderness, so we identified an untapped opportunity for Lord Chambray to create a deeper meaning to their message, own all the positive associations with Malta, provoke a sense of escapism and vacation-reminiscence, and become a truly inspiring brand.
The territory of inspiration for our creative process was of course their unique location. We built their new brand identity with an ultimate mission in mind: let people bring a piece of Malta back home.

ByVolume worked with Lord Chambray initially with the naming of some of their beers, then creating a full brand identity for packaging and collaterals, from glassware to merchandising including the development of their new tagline - We Speak Beer - and the creation of a poster campaign.
