ABOUT

Logo identity for Connected Pictures, an award-winning video production company focusing on human stories and purpose driven content.

Connected Pictures’ old logo was clean and simple, but its thinness caused readability issues in small and digital formats. They wanted a clean logo that wasn’t a big departure from their recognised branding, but had better readability and a monogram option.

A wide, stacked and monogram-only version of the logo was developed, using the negative space cutout of the two Ns as a visual element, which was adapted into the monogram.

THE BEAUTIFUL TRUTH

At the same time, Connected Pictures were creating a website dedicated to purpose, human insight, and creativity. I created a logo for it and set up the site in WordPress, including some CSS customisation and a guideline document.

Pictured are early monogram explorations and previous thicker logo version which had adjustments made to it, before clients went in a different typeface direction.

Project time: 5 days + 2 hours logo suite packaging
