hanks, Jan! Really appreciate the feedback.We felt it fit the Rebel category because we deliberately broke away from the conventional production approach rather than the narrative itself.
It's a mixed-media piece combining AI and live action, and the cinematographer chose to shoot on a Phantom 4K—something that's rarely used for fashion films or human subjects. We also created all of the colour and light effects practically on set using diamond reflections, rather than relying on post-production.
It was our way of challenging the traditional filmmaking process, even if it's perhaps a little less obvious on first viewing.
