The Challenge
We partnered with O2 and Columbia Records to create a 360 degree gig experience, to put fans on stage, back stage and in the crowd for a Kasabian gig at the O2 Academy Brixton.

The Solution
We used a series of 360-degree camera rigs and binaural audio microphones to capture the gig from places that fans would never have access to. This allowed fans to view the gig from the drum set, the front of the stage and even in the middle of the raucous, beer swilling crowd, where a waterproof camera rig was installed.

The next challenge was to get as many fans to see the footage as possible, we achieved this with the Visualise HTML5 web-player allowing users to view the content in their web-browser or via the 'magic window' of their mobile device or tablet.

The hero platform was Samsung’s Gear VR headset, giving VIPs the closest experience to being at the gig as possible.

The Results
An immersive 360 degree audio and video experience, getting fans closer to the band than ever before.

“Incredible, immersive experience, it’s like nothing you’ve ever experienced before… I lost myself, it was amazing.”
Mike Pickering, Columbia Records, Vice President of A&R (ex Factory Records and Hacienda)
