A sea turtle, one of the oldest creatures on Earth, swimming in the ocean around Green Island (also known as Ludao or Lyudao). This small volcanic island is located off the southeast coast of Taiwan in Taitung County. These images reflect on the beauty, fragility, and resilience of the natural world. According to reports, Taiwan has experienced significant coral bleaching in recent years due to unprecedented marine heatwaves, and the corals have not yet recovered.
