Our client appointed Wedidit Creative to design a bid submission for a prestigious building in London, selecting us specifically for our reputation in high-impact, award-winning bid design. The brief called for a standout, “wow factor” submission that felt personal, premium, and appropriate for senior decision-makers reviewing one of London’s most iconic buildings.

Concept
The concept focused on personal connection through innovation. In response to the client’s request for a personal impression, Wedidit proposed including a video message from the Managing Director and delivery team. To elevate the experience further, our design team devised an embedded video player within the inside cover of the printed bid, auto-playing on opening to deliver immediate impact and a direct, human message.
Execution
Wedidit artworked and managed every stage of production. Our team recommended a limited run of luxury hard-copy bids alongside an interactive electronic submission. Print was chosen to create emotional engagement through tactile storytelling, premium materials, and craftsmanship, adding exclusivity and perceived value to the bid. The cover featured a bespoke linear illustration of the building, reflecting its skyline presence. A dark grey, premium uncoated stock with subtle embossing was selected for a corporate yet luxurious feel. Hardback covers were hand-finished, with video players wrapped in matching materials for a seamless result. Digital cutters created precise apertures, raised white ink enhanced the cover design, and the inner pages were digitally printed and hand Swiss-bound.

Results
The bid made a powerful impression. The receiving client praised the innovative embedded video and the personal tone of the submission, stating it made them feel genuinely understood. Our client was delighted with the quality and impact of the work—and ultimately won the bid, securing this highly lucrative and prestigious contract.
