A nine-time winner of the Bespoke Guild Mark award, Richard Williams required a brand that would transcend fads and trends, and like his pieces, be admired and enjoyed for generations to come.

This elegantly crafted brand visually represents the beauty and elegance that Richard puts into his unique works of art establishing him as a true Master & Maker.

The Brand Identity is modern, luxurious and highly detailed with every element considered to be recognisable. We have created unique and playful assets that work flexibly together or apart.

BESPOKE TYPOGRAPHIC WORDMARK
A custom typographic wordmark was created that combines sans and serifs, as a nod to the unique pieces that are crafted, combining heritage and modernity, whilst the arrangement is an acknowledgment to classic English quirks.

MAKERS MARK
A makers mark was created to elevate Richard as a Master + Maker. The never-ending mark represents the timeless nature of his pieces and his passing of knowledge to younger generations.

BRAND TEXTURES
Textures from cross sections of wood were created to highlight the material that Richard specialises in whilst bringing the natural beauty to the forefront.

ART DIRECTION
The beauty of Richard’s Buckinghamshire workshop had to be celebrated and so a shoot was commissioned to capture the environment in which he mentors his talented team of craftsmen.
