ABOUT

THE BRIEF

Paddington Central is an 11 acre mixed use destination close to Paddington station in London’s West End. Our job was to take the recently evolved brand and produce an innovative new website for this renowned destination.

THE OUTCOME

British Land had an existing website for Paddington Central, but their objectives changed and we knew this was a great opportunity to utilise our vast knowledge and expertise in property development and construction. After being commissioned, we learned that the plan for initial phase of the website had changed, and there was an urgent requirement for the website to support the forthcoming "Summer Live" events programme at Paddington Central. Our suite of tools allows visitors to book onto classes, view the events programme and discover more about the vision for this exciting destination. The events programme has been designed to encourage visitors to the area and turn Paddington Central into a go-to destination for bars, shopping and events. Once this reputation is in place, later phases will concentrate on further development at Paddington Central and focus on attracting new businesses to take up residence there. The platform we delivered allows the Paddington Central team to support this expanding vision by seamlessly adding additional pages and area specific content that will continually promote Paddington Central as the new destination of choice.

THE RESULTS

A content rich website, promoting the great schedule of events at Paddington Central, with a solid foundation allowing further development to support the expanding vision of this renowned destination.

And since the launch, we’ve seen a 350% increase in users, a 600% increase in returning visitors and organic traffic is up by 216%. Referral traffic has risen too, by 406%!
