About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am applying for any relevant position you may have with your organisation, as a graphic designer or any other relevant role. I graduated with a BA Honours Degree in Visual Communication Design from Middlesex University, obtaining 2:1. Along with this academic achievement I have also developed skills through my experiences that I would like to transfer to this post.

I am attracted to graphic design because it allows me to express a powerful message through images, which if done successfully can be embedded in peoples minds. In addition, the broad spectrum of design really appeals to me, especially typography and magazine design. My other interests include layouts, packaging and photography.

As you will note from my curriculum vitae, I have an excellent understanding of Illustrator, Photoshop, and Quark Express and a sound knowledge of Flash. I can also grasp the use of new packages very quickly.

I am flexible, dedicated and a self-starter, who shows great initiative. I am also an organised individual who can work to tight deadlines as illustrated through my experience of working on various major projects for Anglophiles Academic. My experiences demonstrate my capability of working well with others by overcoming the challenges presented to me.
