About me

A recent graduate, I am desperately keen to penetrate the publishing sector with the hope of forging a career within this area. I am tirelessly passionate about books, (having read English Literature at university) and would relish the opportunity to channel my energies in a publishing house. An avid reader, I spend my spare time caught up in the realms of fiction, whether that be scouring the work of great authors, or scrutinizing a short story of my own. I have every confidence that I would thrive in an animated literary atmosphere, and would be more than happy to start in a junior clerical role. I am currently employed as a general secretary in a reputable financial management firm, and though inexperienced in publishing, am a fast learner and would readily receive any training or instruction made available. Whilst a role within publishing would be fantastic, I am essentially a very creative person, and would thrive in any environment that values imagination as it does resourcefulness . I am extremely organised, conscientious, and amid a relentless search for a position that will prove my worth.
