About me

Preston Kanak has had the opportunity to direct a vast number of projects in a variety of genres including corporate, commercial, narrative and documentary.

One project that has allowed Preston to experiment with a variety of production techniques and directing styles was his film a day project he did for 365 days. This project also helped him build his network. With a focus on using new mediums and channels to share work, Preston has managed to expand his network into multiple countries with workshops and seminars being developed worldwide.
Currently, Preston is producing an extensive educational series on filmmaking and freelancing as well as offering workshops across Canada — with the end goal of establishing an online educational resource for new media creatives.
