About me
Born in Stoke-on-Trent, England, John trained at Cleveland College of Art and Design in the North of England. He studied design & crafts in the entertainment industries, finding his feet with Illustration, concept art and matte painting. John provides many services to make him a versatile artist in both digital and traditional mediums.
Prior to the visual effects industry John provided services such as sculpting, model making, scenic painting and prop making. Working at multiple scales and with varied subject matter John has proven his ability as a professional and capable of adapting to any creative situation.
As VFX Art Director John has provided creative guidance on several VFX heavy shows such as Twisted Metal(peacock) and Star Trek(Paramount+). Aiding with creative direction and supporting the VFX supervisor he has provided early concept development, VAD support and matte painting supervision.
