About me
I have just come to the end of a two year 'Designer in Residence' position at the University of Northumbria. During this time I have established my own design company (westergaard.designs.co.uk).
My company has had success (exhibitions in Cologne, Stockholm, London, Newcastle, Birmingham and sales in the UK and worldwide) and I have had my work recognised by the profession (finalist in the cabinet maker of the year 2007). However, I have become increasingly aware that design, rather than running my own business, is my passion and is where my skills lie.
