About me
Currently based in Kent Police's busy Marketing and Internal Communications department. I am a highly creative Graphic Designer responsible for producing reactive work for high profile incidents and proactive marketing campaigns; working to strict, sometimes legal deadlines.
In the last five years I have played a major role in maintaining and developing the Kent Police brand. I am required to produce creative, accessible and engaging solutions for both an internal and external audience. These materials include anything from magazines to newsletters, posters to press adverts, merchandise to event displays and many other ad hoc projects.
I have also recently expanded my skill set and portfolio producing new media material including Bluetooth messages, graphics for TV and material for the web including Flash banners. I work closely and liaise with colleagues, clients and external suppliers directly throughout to complete the brief on time and to the highest standard.
Being part of the public sector I have the difficult challenge of selling confidence to the public and our department is highly pro-active, producing agency standard work in a fast paced environment. I am cool under pressure and have a great ability managing multiple projects at any one time. I also have expert skills in Adobe CS4 and have excellent project management, IT and telephone skills.
Although I enjoy the challenges the public sector brings, I am now looking for my next step up into an environment where I can make further use of the skills I have developed, pushing the boundaries of the material I produce and work within a variety of different corporate identities.
