About me
I am a second year student at Epping Forest College, I specifically chose to go here so I was able to study photography. I am a self-taught retoucher and very confident with my work and ability to create high quality images. I have very good knowledge of Photoshop and Lightroom as I use this software to edit all of my pictures for college. I am very interested in both retouching and photography so I'd like to pursue a career in these areas. During my work experience with Zone, a high-end media company in Soho, I was responsible for resizing and matching advertising posters. They taught me a lot about editing and printing. I also helped out Fishpools with their catalogue shoot by preparing each scene, I learnt how they create their advertisements and things they have to do post production like colour matching and retouching. I have also been to a few Lightbox events, the people there taught me about studio lighting and camera settings. I spend the majority of my time taking photos and retouching them at home because I really enjoy being creative and it helps me improve my Photoshop skills. It would be great to finally put my skills into practise by following briefs and working to deadlines.
