About me

Philip Schedler is a professional photographer and video producer based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

With over 30 years experience in various industry sectors, Philip has won a number of awards for his photography and video production work.

Born in Switzerland, Philip grew up in South Africa and after finishing his schooling, he went on to complete a National Diploma in Professional Photography at the Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria.

After graduation and assisting various photographers in the advertising industry, he became involved with audiovisual productions for numerous corporate clients and product launches.

From early freelance beginnings undertaking work for editorial feature, fashion, celebrity and travel industry clients, his work shifted direction in the last 10 years to include advertising, corporate and industrial / mining photography and video productions for a number of local and international companies, corporations and organizations.

Clients have included: Anglo Platinum, Atlas Copco, Afrimat, DRA Global, British Council, Epiroc, Heineken, Greenpeace, Doppelmayr Garaventa, Pan African Resources, Metorex, Mercedes Benz AMG, FAW Trucks, Peugeot, Growthpoint, Northam Platinum, Hive Energy

Commissioned work assignments have taken him throughout the African continent and to many other countries around the globe.
