About me
I have quickly gained experience and a range of skills while working as a regional journalist, building on the work I did while studying at the UK's leading journalism centre.
Now I want to move away from journalism and into other forms of media, where I think many of my skills are transferable.
During my time in regional news, I worked as part of a small team covering a range of different components of a media organisation - not only writing and reporting, but managing social media channels, taking photos and video, and sub-editing stories.
I helped to increase the newspaper's Facebook audience by more than 200 per cent and I also led the use of WhatsApp as a news reporting tool for the newspaper.
My own Twitter account is verified and I consider the use of social media as one of my main strengths.
I am used to working under pressure to strict deadlines, often while multi-tasking.
