About me
I have worked for some years as a freelance scriptwriter for film and television. I have had two films produced - Thunderpants and I Want Candy alongside some television work. I have developed a good number of scripts both in the UK and in the US. Given the sporadic nature of writing work in the UK, particularly in the current production climate, I am interested in moving into a more commercial sector of writing, including more television writing and copywriting.
I have some experience of writing more business/commercial material through my work with the European Union. I wrote and designed application forms for funding support and wrote guidelines and promotional material for funds as well as producing sales pitches/synopses for film and television projects in development, many of which were subsequently funded and produced.
I write to deadlines, write well under pressure and never run out of ideas.
