About me

I am 24 years old and am currently working as a freelance
graphic/print designer after spending an extended 7 month contract at
the Design Laboratory, housed within Central Saint Martins school of
art and design. There, I worked on a series of projects for the
Creative Intelligence team, the most prominent being two apparel and
accessories collections for Robe Di Kappa, based in Beijing, China.
My duties were to provide the research and concepts for the
collection's graphic identity, and liasing with my art director, the
client, and collaborators 2Som, based in the Netherlands, to see the
whole design process through from initial research to final designs, as
well as designing and producing 3D mockups and technical spec sheets of
all the trims and fastenings. Whilst this was the main project during
my stay there, I also spent some time producing regular reports on
student/graduate design trends for Global Color Research's MIX
publication.
Since leaving this position I have been working on a few projects
for University of the Arts London, including an interiors project for
one of the student union bars, where I have created a series of
repeating patterns to be transferred via digital vinyl to coat the the
interior of the space.
I am looking for a full time junior designer position within a
fashion/sport apparel label/supplier and ultimately I want my career to
continue with a company that would allow me to research and develop
designs across a number of product levels, and work with a team that
all work across a number of disciplines to produce consistant and
well-considered pieces year in year out.
