About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have 15 years worth of print production experience ranging from working with litho sheet-fed printing companies, managing the creative side of various publishing matter through to print production. I also have a wealth of experience in purchasing web, screen, digital, direct mail, point of sale, display stand and outdoor media, along with typesetting, design and editorial procurement. All of which meet an SLA approved framework within job budgets, which often involved negotiating with suppliers.

In my role I managed various projects at once, at times up to 25 jobs. Each project varied in requirements, with specific print production elements.

I have excellent time management and organisational skills, vital for maintaining quality of work whilst handling more than one project at a time. Each project I worked on required a detailed working schedule created, that was adhered to both with the third party supplier and with the client.

I am fully IT literate and used database progammes to raise jobs, budgets, purchase orders and store artwork and correspondence.

My clients ranged from the marketing personnel to stakeholders and department heads from various government departments and organisations such as Cabinet Office and Department of Health, both verbally and via-email.

I have always worked in a team and built good relationships with clients and colleagues alike. I found this to be a very important aspect of my job, to build trust and comradery.
