About me

Since September 2007 having gained BA (hons) Architecture from the Manchester School of Architecture, I have been working at AEW Architects in Manchester as a Part 1 assistant. Whilst enjoying and learning a great deal from this practice I feel a different design experience would be beneficial to my development. I feel I am an enthusiastic and self motivated candidate; having a keen interest in photography had led me to design my own website using Photoshop and Dreamweaver (*). I have become accustomed to managing projects, as this was the basis of our major coursework projects each academic year at University, Also this year I have entered several architectural competitions. One for Urban splash, of which the proposal was featured in the Architect's Journal, and an internal Company led competition for which my scheme was shortlisted. I have a good knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat, which I use on a daily basis in my current occupation; as well as Powerpoint, in which I have created several staff briefing presentations.
