About me

I'm a creative, hard working dubbing mixer. started as a trainee sound engineer at Molinare in Soho, London in 1982 working on a wide range of programme material from documentaries to commercials. In 1987 I left Molinare to help start a new facility, a 24 tk sound studio and edit suite called The AV Dept. In 1991 the company was sold to VTR and I went freelance.
I worked continuously during the 90's and 00's as a freelance sound engineer, mainly in London, on a variety of projects, mainly dramas, gameshows and documentaries.
In 2009 I founded a sound production company in Scotland to record and mix cartoon sound for the BBC. The company produced 40 hours of TV annually for the BBC for 16 years although I also kept up some freelance work. This year the companies contract finally ended so I am looking for new opportunities to use my skills.
I live in Suffolk and have my own Protools recording and mixing set up. For the past 16 years I have mixed and edited hundreds of broadcast programmes from my home studio for BBC, Channel 4, Discovery, ITV among others.
