About me

Experienced freelance photographer,specialized in portraiture, architecture, food, product,and landscape photography.

My work includes commissions for restaurants and small businesses. I have also worked on photo shoots with a number of bands, portfolio shoots with models and actors and shot a number of weddings too. Coming from an art background I have always been interested in photography. I switched fully from using paint brushes to using a camera back in 2003. My previous foray into photography was when I studied fine art and art history around 16 years ago.

I view photography not only as a way of taking images; but as a tool for capturing a mood and a feeling, whether in a landscape or in a portrait.

I am influenced by film, art, music, books, history and nature, with the themes of light and dark being the overwhelming narrative. I love a photograph that can tell a story.
