About me

As you already guessed, my name is Peter Gwyer and I am passionate
about design, typesetting and artworking, or as I call it dta, which is
why I call myself a freelance creative artworker. I am an all-in-one
man. A creative artworker for over 10 years, I have cut my teeth in
various publishers, design agencies and other organisations learning
the skills that have helped me to become the accomplished creative
artworker I am today. I am proud of the work I have produced and
the strong relationships I have built up with both clients and team
members to achieve viable and effective final products.
In 2005, I decided to go it alone and work for myself. I wanted to
explore new areas and was ready to set up my own business. As a result,
I have worked on numerous of projects arranging from creating various
titled books e.g. Matt Dawson Celebrity Cookbook and Cadogan travel
books to brochures, corporate identity, direct mail, press adverts,
point of sale and websites. You will see this as you look through my
portfolio.
I am always looking to improve and face new challenges, particularly
new tools and techniques in design software. I believe there is always
room to learn new skills.
