About me
Born and raised in New York City, Peter Darmi is a medley of Composer,
Sound Designer, Recording Engineer, Record Producer, video editor, and
AfterEffects master.
Among his many awards and Platinum records, Peter is proudest of
engineering Grammy award winning albums for George Benson, Natalie
Cole, and BB King, and nominations for Lou Rawls, Mose Allison, and
Gonzalo Rubalcaba for which he was nominated Best Recording Engineer.
He's scored and sound designed national TV spots for Duracell, Porsche,
IBM, Sprite, Nick at Nite, Datek, and a host of others you've seen on TV.
He's also scored music cues for current TV shows "Duck Dynasty", and
"CSI", and for major motion pictures staring Keith Carradine ("Night of The
Templar"), and Martin Sheen ("Chamaco") as well as numerous inde features
and documentaries.
In 2014 Peter expanded his business, formerly Cloudcap Audio Post, Inc into
Hello Joe Media, Inc., providing complete start-to-finish video production, —
and audio post production for commercials and feature films; including
scoring, sound design, and post mixing for theatrical release 5.1 surround.
