About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am keen to be considered for the Junior Creative Artworker role.

During my final year of University, I won a D&AD Student Award, Best of Year for answering the motion graphic brief set by Channel 4 and MPC. This has given me great confidence in pursuing a role within the design industry.

You will see from my attached CV that I have gained a wide variety of both transferable and specific skills, which correlate to working within a successful design company. During my three years at The Arts University Bournemouth, I have developed into a multi media designer, that strives to learn new ways in communicating graphically and is determined to identify the best possible outcome. I was able to apply these skills during a three month internship at Double G Studios.

Accepting feedback, be it positive or negative, only fuels my desire to fully answer a brief whilst being as creative as possible. I feel that my communication skills are evident with regards to my bar work experience and being selected as the Arts University Bournemouth 1st team captain. The role of being captain, allowed me to utilise my persuasive skills by installing a positive mentality within the team towards training, matches and fundraising events. It is evident that I thrive within a team environment, but also have the drive to work independently with my passion for design.

Please find attached my CV and link to my portfolio of work which best describe me as a designer.

I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.

Yours sincerely,

Pete Tomlinson
