About me
My name is Pete Cook. I'm a graphic designer, and for the past 12 years have worked from my studio in Oxted, Surrey, under the banner of Lexicon Designs Ltd. During that time I have also mixed in onsite freelance work; venturing outdoors, brushing the rain from my shoulders, and drinking other people's coffee.
Prior to setting up Lexicon Designs in 2004, I worked at M&C Saatchi for seven years, as a designer/typographer, on high profile campaigns for British Airways, Fosters, Mandarin Oriental, Bahrain EDB and many other blue chip clients. My byline since leaving the bright lights of Soho has been, 'West End quality without the price tag." I am still on great terms with M&C, and often find myself drinking their coffee when they have a big pitch or need holiday cover.
I've seen enormous change in the industry over the years, but still pride myself on keeping pace with new technology whilst retaining the fundamentals of good design and outstanding customer service.
