Everyone keeps telling me that I'm crazy for leaving my hometown in Australia. I mean... they're not wrong. The sun shines so often the saying is literally; "Brisbane: Beautiful one day, perfect the next"...
... Although to be honest, I hear it's been a absolute scorcher of a summer with their 40 degree heat, so who's laughing now!
After managing to survive my first winter in London, my healthy glow turning into a lovely translucent, pasty white; I think it's time to step up my game and move on to the next chapter.
ENVY was an extremely valuable foot in the door here in London. While I was a runner I met a lot of wonderful people and I managed to clock around 50 hours of training in the Audio machine room as well as with the various tracklayers and mixers. So not only am I confident I'll be an asset in the machine room/ studio, I'm an ethusiastic fast learner willing to put in the time outside of my contracted working hours.
I guarantee you I'm pretty easy-going, reliable, honest and passionate about films, TV and music. My dream is to eventually be a Sound Designer and I've done pretty much everything from being a runner and booming on set, to doing a final mixdown in a 5.1 cinema on Protools HD.
