About me
I am a 23 year old UK Graduate holding a 2:1 degree in BA (Hons) Photography in the Arts, seeking a career in a new environment that provides unique opportunities. I am currently a Freelance Photographer and Permanent Writer for the magazine Yellow Bunting. I am adaptable to changes and new conditions, giving me a wide variety of skills and experience. I have studied Photography and Photojournalism in depth for the past 5 years and it remains a strong passion of mine that I fully intend to create a career with.
Skills
My in-depth knowledge and experience in specific editorial and design programmes is demonstrable. Such include Lightroom, Capture One, Photo Mechanic, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Final Cut Pro. , I have good experience in assisting a number of photographers. I have assisted for Karen Ingham, Helouise Godfrey, Marianne Demmo, Paul Duerinckx. I have also worked as an Events Photographer where initially I assisted in photographing local events, and then eventually became the photographer myself., I typically have assisted in studio and on-location shoots. Duties like preparing models or subjects, adjusting camera angles, changing camera settings and gaining good, composed lighting was a main role in itself, whether indoors or outdoors. I became extremely familiar with giving light metre readings and using a range of lighting equipment, using Profoto and Elinchrom for portraits and still life.
