About me
Enhancing the experience of everyday activities is what drives my passion for design. By designing objects that encourage mindful interaction, I aim to provide users with opportunities to feel appreciation and gratitude towards their possessions, environment and daily lives. I am a strong believer in using qualitative research methods that bring the user into the design process. Throughout my experience this has inspired innovative and original design solutions that are truly valuable to the user and stand out in a competitive market place. I am keen to work on commercial projects that will touch the lives of many. To ensure my work is commercially appealing I pay close attention to trend forecasts, regularly attend relevant trade shows (100% design, Tent, Interiors UK +more), and keep my nose in design and interior magazines, websites and blogs. My style tends to generate products that have a high perceived value and sophisticated edge combined with a sense of fun. My education and industry experience have equipped me with strong design, communication, and project management skills that ensure impressive design outcomes delivered on time. Previous work has impressed Ercol, John Lewis, Speedo and I have been a Core 77 design challenge prize winner.
