Biography Born in the late 70's when love was free, the sun always shone and mums and dads looked like they'd just strolled out of Woodstock, Portuguese Dj and Producer Paulo Costa aka Thakosta was always destined to escape the grim confines of Nazare and get lost in music somewhere.
Thakosta stormed to prominence on the dance music scene in a relatively short space of time, having spend the early part of ...his Dj career playing Techno and House in bars, clubs and Radio his sound naturally matured and evolved into its current fresh sounding of Electro House state.
Moved to London in 97 in search of a new kind of adrenaline and end up studying Audio and Sound Engineering and Music Production oppening new doors to music industry.
As a Dj and Producer, his continued efforts both in and out of the booth have paid off, teaming up and playing for London's most prolific luxury nightclubs such as Egg London, Coronet, O2 Brixton Academy, Electric Brixton, Chinawhite and More...also as a supporting act and dividing stage with big names such as Phill Hartnoll (ORBITAL), Lost Frequencies, Markus Schulz ... with 2 European tours done in 2014 playing in the TOP NIGHT SPOTS across city capitals WAS a success followed by a 3 months touring Brazil 2014/15.
Thakosta has so instinctively tapped into that "human experience" that millions of club goers have sought after and has taken so many on a journey into sound. With his flawless, imaginative mixing and his mind-blowing programming, Thakosta preaches a gospel of smooth bass beats mixed with deep tech house.
Today playing across London in the best nightclubs and with a 2016 agenda in full including 5 dates in july in the worlds top summer destination IBIZA @ Amesia, Ushuaia, DC10, Sankeys, Space and Boat Party...d even with a busy agenda still manage time to produce and present my show @ SDANCE RADIO 96.1FM live weekly were attracts thousand listeners in two hours session.
After a great response from events organised by EGG LDN, DOG RECORDS, GIGALUM, SDANCE RADIO, Lucidjammin Entertainment and Progressive UK, his ready to create and innovate a new music ERA.
