About me

Paulene has been involved in both the longform and the commercial side of the film and advertising industry. Her experience lies in post production and production, which requires creative commitment, problem solving talent, budgeting and scheduling skills. Paulene has worked on numerous high end award winning commercials, films and documentaries. Highlighted achievements were for Chickens can fly - SAFTA award for directing a documentary. Light and Dark a SAFTA for best DOP. She has also worked with well know nature conservationists Dereck and Beverly Joubert, as well as having supported a number of first for women South African filmmakers short films campaigns - proactively pushing the limits for woman and providing opportunities where available. Paulene believes that creativity is all about great story telling. She is also committed to projects with social purpose. She has a high level of skill in production, post production, brand marketing and PRO. Paulene has recently taken on script writing as a "serious" hobby and has completed her first full feature length screenplay. Paulene has owned and run companies and grown talent in the film industry - and continues to do so. Driven by passion to succeed.
