- UK and EU citizenship, and lives in Cambridgeshire - within easy commuting distance of London

- Formal academic qualifications in English (once the UK's youngest lecturer and examiner in English)

- Further relevant qualifications (including an MBA Part I - the Competent Manager's Certificate)

- Vast blue-chip writing experience across many sectors and for both traditional and new media

- Significant experience in Swiss-based blue-chip market intelligence

- A very high IQ. Winner of 2 of British Mensa's national competitions. I'm not certifiably stupid.
