About me
Dear Blueskies,
I have seen the role advertised and would like to apply for the position of Artworker.
I have gained many years of experience in various roles and now seeking a new challenge and permanent position. I have recently worked as a Creative Designer for a property company and created the website *.
I also recently completed an assignment for a Catering Association to provide new and exciting updates for their Company. My duties involved the use of Adobe Creative Suite CS5 especially Photoshop and Illustrator to achieve the great results. My task was to create a new company 24 page magazine in Indesign and a business brochure as well as web design Logos and company adverts that also featured throughout the magazine. I also created the website *
In a previous role I worked for the Birmingham Council as a Data Quality Officer for the Data Quality and Management team. I worked with SQL script and crystal reports to provide various points of information for people within the council. I used SQL script to make data changes and enhance the children's database for Birmingham. My task was to reduce conflictions of information and contact all schools about the data changes that would take effect.
During my time working for the Council at the Martineau Centre I was employed as a Web Developer/Graphic Designer to construct and develop e-learning lessons and materials for professionals to complete the Common Assessment Framework for young children online. To achieve this I created 2 websites for the CAF team and the Information Sharing and Management team. One of which is the main learning site for eCAF, it is an online e-learning site. The lessons I created explain how the online assessment for young people works by step by step introductions and questionnaires. The website uses SCORM files and was created in Photoshop with Illustrator and KStutor. */(no longer active, although i have an extensive collection of Prints taken from on screen)
Prior to the Council roles I worked as a Graphic Designer with Pindar which were a part of the Yell group. They were a large advertising agency. I was responsible for the production of print based advertisements for the Yellow Book America directory and Yellow Pages for the overseas market to guidelines and deadlines in a fast paced environment. Often full creativity was implied for all work. I have some great examples of this work in my printed portfolio and thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

Paul McNally
