About me
My award winning illustrations for books and book covers have been widely acclaimed in the publishing world. I use a mixture of traditional drawing techniques, computer generated images and photographs blended together in Photoshop. These images are often based on my interest in folklore and mythology and are thoroughly researched. The American edition of the Sacred Circle Tarot has sold over 100,000 copies and has also been published in German, Spanish and Turkish.
In addition I currently work part time as a cover designer, and have designed several books. I have designed letterheads, leaflets, posters, CD ROMs, websites, displays, magazines, press campaigns, adverts. As senior graphic designer at De Montfort University I used Director, Dreamweaver, Freehand, Illustrator, InDesign, Pagemaker, Painter, Photoshop, Poser and Quark Express. I am also familiar with Word, Excel, Power Point, ArcView, Acrobat, etc.
Clients have included Chrysalis Books, The Royal Society of Arts, Reuters, East of England Orchestra, The Department of Trade and Industry, Leicester Comedy Festival, Leicester International Music Festival, The RSC and English Heritage.
In addition I am highly motivated, reliable at working to deadlines, flexible, confident in managing projects, an excellent communicator across all levels of an organisation, have a degree in art & design, a high level of literacy [I am a published author, am numerate and used to accounting.
