About me

For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to be a designer. I started my work life out on a litho press learning the ropes in print and that gave me the way in to design that I wanted. I am so glad, looking back, I took that route. The knowledge I took from being a printer was priceless when I made the change to print design.

I am a passionate designer. I appreciate art in all forms and I love to surf trends and new designers to see what's happening out there. Branding, identity and packaging are what I do best. I have been designing packaging for 10 years and started freelancing part-time about 4 years ago. The freelancing gave me an opportunity to diversify and sharpen my knives. It also led me to another area of design, which was the web. I wouldn't probably ever call myself an expert but I really do enjoy web design and it's an area where I hope to expand my skill set. I have managed to teach myself xhtml, css and how to handcode websites.
