About me

Currently I am working as a freelance designer with some experience in web and print design, but focusing on motion media, editing, sound and DVD design. My work has featured on plasma screens throughout the country in shopping centres, bars and nightclubs. Some of my clients have included Ford, Mazda and the BBC.

My work in motion graphic design has been my most enjoyable and prolific. I have developed my skills from basic flash animation to broadcast standard work. I have a very creative flair and can quickly identify original concepts and ideas. I see problems as opportunities to further my skills and always intend to push the boundaries. I work under my own supervision researching, where necessary, solutions to any problem. I have developed the ability to look at a given scenario in a fresh and innovative way. I work in a positive and highly imaginative way that helps drive new ideas and concepts.

Much of the work I produce is done with the Adobe CS2 suite. All the motion design work on my showreel DVD is produced within After Effects. All of the design is created within Photoshop & Illustrator and the DVD authoring is done within Encore. I also regularly use Premier for digital video editing and have a good understanding of broadcast standards. I have also used Macromedia products to create interactive work for CD-Rom and the Web.
