Dear Sir/Madam,

It was with real interest that I read the advertisement for your Copywriter role. I have been living and working in Zurich, Switzerland since 2009 but have now relocated to Manchester and am available immediately.

Until June 30th 2014 I was employed as the International Web and Communications Officer for Cryo-Save AG (Life Sciences), based near Zurich, Switzerland. As part of the International Marketing department, I was responsible for all internal and external communication and communications channels, including all online platforms, as well as the company's press relations and public affairs matters. I managed the social media policy for all countries, as well as the Group social media accounts: Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn. Between January 2013 and February 2014, I acted as project manager for the delivery of a new 50,000 EUR customer website, available in 40 countries and 30 languages. I managed the entire process, including the development of ecommerce contracts for all territories, creation of initial brief and tendering process.

At Cryo-Save, I also created the company's Intranet, which facilitated document sharing and translation requests and opened up dialogue between marketing managers which had not existed previously.

I have excellent copywriting skills, and can evidence experience of writing for a wide range of audiences, on a wide range of topics across multiple channels. From 1,500-word features for internal newspapers to 250-word press releases and from web content to email marketing text.
