About me

I am an experienced, versatile communicator with excellent design and writing skills.

I have considerable experience in publishing design, including layout, editing and proof reading to completion of finished pages ready for press.

My writing skills encompass a broad range of subjects from news to sport to feature writing.

I have much experience in web publishing, updating websites with words, headlines and images and more latterly website design projects for a number of small businesses.

I am a committed team player and strongly believe that this is a key to the success of any product or service.

I became redundant as my post and other similar ones were discontinued.

This has given me the opportunity to look towards new ventures, not necessarily in publishing. I have been studying web design, notably learning Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, Flash and Fireworks.

I am extremely technically proficient, having taken a keen interest in computer technology since the early days of home computers nearly 30 years ago.
