About me

I consider myself a hard working individual with a "can
do" attitude. I bring with me 3 years of experience working as a
Graphic Designer/Artworker within fast paced environments. I have
experience of leading and working as part of a team but also have the
confidence to work on my own. I have a passion for what I do and
believe that my main assets are a strong work ethic and
reliability.

I have experience in working to rigid brand guidlines for clients
such as Hard Rock Cafe, Chiquito, Garfunkel's and South Yorkshire
Police. A recent example of this was when I produced a nationwide
campaign for one of the UK's leading restaurants. The design for the
promotion was seen in the London Lifestyle Magazine, the London
Underground and every one of the company's restaurants in the UK. I was
entirely responsible for the whole project from start to finish. The
project required me to interpret the brief quickly but effectively and
produce visuals for the client that cohered to the brand's guidelines.
I had to re-touch many images using Photoshop and liaise with the
client on a daily basis to achieve the desired look. I was also
required to proof read and prepare the hi-res artwork in many different
formats, large and small.

I have experience in successfully leading teams to complete
challenging projects. An example of this was when an award winning bar
and restaurant operator in Leeds approached us to create various
artwork for their promotions that they were running at the time. I was
selected as the person the manage the project. The project gave me the
opportunity to oversee a less experienced team to fulfill the client's
needs and meet a tight deadline. The end result was that the client was
very impressed with our work and it has lead to a great working
relationship so far this year.

Although I am currently working close to Leeds I have many friends
and family living in London and a move to the capital would not be a
problem for me whatsoever.
