About me

I'm a confident people person with great attention to detail and enthusiasm. Since graduating from university in 2001, I have worked my way up in the highly competitive television industry on a freelance basis, working as a researcher and then as an assistant producer in TV entertainment. I was recently given a producer credit at the BBC.

I love my job however the industry is always on a freelance basis and it can never guarantee work. After ten years I've now reached a point when I would like to join a company on a permanent basis in London or the South East where I can be a valued member of a team. I'm willing to take on a variety of new roles and would even consider junior roles in areas such as marketing, PR or coordinating.

The thought of a change in career excites me especially the opportunity to do a company proud and succeed and progress in a new area. Preferably the job would have something to do with the media, hence me contacting your company. Even if a role isn't creative (e.g. coordinating) I'd still be interested, because one of my hobbies is writing in my spare time anyway.

I keep up with current trends, advertising and the celebrity world. I'm used to working in an office environment (I have Impressive writing skills and I'm used to working with Word and Excel) and I'm an excellent team leader.

I put 100 % effort into any task that is given to me and I'm a quick learner and willing to try a new challenge.
Thanks for taking to read this and I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards,

Paul Banks
