About me

I'm a graduate of Falmouth School of Art, and previously worked as a graphic designer. My illustrations are concept-driven, with the simplicity of an idea and its execution being at the core of my work. While loose sketching and doodling is an important step in the process of discovery, I prefer to work up visuals on the computer before submitting to clients as happy accidents can occur along the way.

Since signing with Début Art in 2010 I've enjoyed working on a variety of projects across editorial, advertising, publishing, film and music sectors, for clients including Adidas / Air France / Bank of Scotland / BBC Wildlife / Boeing / Cosmopolitan / Deezer / Dell / EMI / ESPN / Fidelity / GQ / The Guardian / Harvard Business Review / IATA / Johns Hopkins University / Kiplinger's Personal Finance / KPMG / London Business School / Lloyds of London / Men's Health / Microsoft / New Scientist / Pfizer / Radio Times / Royal Mail / Scientific American Mind / SHOP Magazine / Toyota / Transport for London / The Times / The Telegraph / Toyota / Vodafone / Wall Street Journal / Washington Post / Williams Murray Hamm / Women's Health.

I'm particularly interested in animal welfare and environmental issues and have worked closely with the Born Free Foundation, Sea Shepherd, WildAid, Blood Lions and Youth for Lions in South Africa.

I've also publishes my own distinctive range of children's books which have been translated into 17 languages, and received many accolades including a nomination for the Kate Greenaway Medal for illustration. My latest book 'Animal Rescue' was shortlisted for the Best British Book Design Awards and the prestigious German Youth Literature Prize.
