I’m a strong all-rounder with over 15 years experience, working mostly in advertising for the print sector and I can design, artwork, visualise and retouch to the very highest standards. I have also served an apprenticeship as a typesetter/typographer. There isn’t anything in Photoshop that I can’t do from a retouching perspective., I have a thorough knowledge of the printing processes used and I know how to set up files for print for screen, litho, web offset, flex and digital printing. I also have expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, QuarkXpress, Acrobat and a good understanding of Word, Powerpoint and Flash., I have worked on a wide range of collateral from magazines and press to DM and POS as well as packaging and exhibition work. I would however, like to develop my knowledge of web/banner skills and would welcome the opportunity to do this., In the past, I have held the position of Team Leader and Assistant Manager at several places of employment and most recently headed up the design and artwork department for Specsavers, working on their instore POS and DM work, where I successfully completed a year long contract. Previous to this I was freelancing for 8 years., What I can offer you is a very hard working, skillful member of the team who thrives under pressure, is easy to get along with and can take direction. Also someone who really cares about the quality of their work and pays close attention to detail. Who understands the need for structure and processes and is happy to insure that they are upheld.
