I am applying for the post of Artworker posted on jobrapido.com and would be very interested in being considered for this position. I feel I am suitable for the vacancy in view of my experience in my previous role. I am seeking a new challenge and would welcome the opportunity to be part of a stimulating environment.
I have worked for over twenty years in the printing industry where I have gained significant experience in all areas of pre-press. I am fully conversant with MAC especially QuarkXpress, Photoshop and Illustrator besides others as my CV illustrates, from clients briefs, producing print ready artwork and on to press. I have also recently gained qualifications in MS Office. Long term I want to make the most of my abilities hopefully making a significant contribution to the job; fitting in easily with existing staff.
I am an enthusiastic, cheerful and practical person and I am eager to implement the professional skills I have developed so far while being committed to improving them. I am an exceptional organiser capable of working in a demanding and fast paced environment where attention to detail is essential to achieving the highest level of productivity. I am capable of communicating at all levels and I work extremely well under pressure. I understand the importance of team performance in the workplace although I work just as well on my own. My organisational and planning skills had to be outstanding as I often had several jobs on the go at once, often with the same deadline. This necessitated a calm nature so that everything ran smoothly. It certainly helped to have a sense of humour.
I am looking for a rewarding opportunity to further my career in a busy and interesting setting. I would most welcome an interview and do hope that we can meet in the near future to discuss this role further. I don't have a portfolio but my previous employer can confirm my capability.
