About me

Hello there!

I am a student of the London College of Communication (formerly the London School of Printing) looking for some work to compliment and enhance my studies. I am currently doing a vocational Diploma in Digital Print Production, which covers all aspects of modern Desk Top Publishing from the design stage through to the final print stage and graphic design.

I am comfortable using the standard graphic industry software applications, such as Quark, In Design, Illustrator & Photoshop, with good skills in digital imaging, image editing, manipulation and preparation for print for both page & screen. I can produce professional, print-ready PDF's and have a creative flair for colour, structure, placement and page layout.

I have good office and organizational skills, with good customer service experience and telephone manner. I am competent with Microsoft Word and a fast learner.

I was recently commissioned to design 3 promotional posters for one of Vibe Bar's (on Brick Lane) popular music nights.

I am currently doing work experience with respected artist/photographer Nigel Grimmer, retouching and fixing his photos for exhibitions and archiving for his website.

I am also doing freelance work for Maia Press, publishers, getting experience in proof-reading, type-setting, book cover design and understanding of the publishing process.

I am looking for a part-time position and am able to start immediately.
