About me

I am currently employed as a Middleweight Designer within the Communications Department by Wolverhampton City Council and have been there since 4 October 2004. My duties involve the promotion and development of the services provided by the various departments within the council, both internally and externally. This includes brochures, mailshots, corporate identity, newsletters, exhibitions and large format. My work is very varied with my key strength being a good eye for accuracy and detail and the ability to tailor my work to the project at hand whilst working within budget restrictions on a daily basis.

I poses excellent proof reading and copyediting skills and I also utilise my photographic skills within my designs from time to time. I am able to approach each brief with the end product and audience in mind creating clean, clear and well thought out results. I have a good knowledge of pre-press and production values and able to communicate on a technical level with printers and publishers. I have experience in artwork production for print and asset creation for web aswell as the ability to be proficient across both Pc and Mac platforms.
