About me

I'm Paolo Olivieri, an italian designer and illustrator with 15+ years extensive experience in print,

My philosophy is to design with purpose, to see the beauty in the unseen and bring the vision to life.

I've connected my personal view of the society with the graphic, trying to understand how people speak, what people do, but chiefly, what people want.

Throughout my career I have worked at various brand communication and advertising agencies in different mediums across branding, campaigns, print and digital media; in this way I have had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of skillfull figures such as digital painters, 3D artists, tattoo artist, textile designers, to engage and teach others.

After co-founding my personal creative agency in 2001, VirtualMente Communication, I pursued every way of the design process, from computer to phisical printed item.

I've a strenght skillfull of digital and offset printing system, cutting machine such as large format plotter, printing machine for large plastic materials, also I've explored screen printing technique for my personal streetwear clothing brand " Low Manufacturing".

In 2013 I've opened my first monobrand retail shop in Rome.

Also in this year I took part for nine months in an exciting editorial project for restyling the graphic of the newspaper "La Repubblica".
