About me

MeanMagenta is a voyage of discovery, enchantment and experimentation captured in the shape of beautiful artwork, photographs and textile designs.

MeanMagenta was established in Bury in 2004, a young business with loads of ambitious plans and determination. Being a multi-skilled visual artist/textile designer, Paola De Giovanni can offer and deliver products/bespoke services where even the smallest detail is taken into account.

Paola graduated from the University of Salford, (BA-Design Studies), gained valuable experience working at high profile art galleries in London and as an assistant archivist at the Michael Wilson Centre for Photography. She then graduated from the London College of Fashion, MA-Fashion Studies

MeanMagenta has its own showcase on line at *, and specialised press, most recently the company was featured in "SquareFoot Magazine" and more recently in "Thread".

I devote time to develop my personal artistic research, while part of my photographic work and textile designs are aimed at art collectors/design conscious buyers who look for an appropriate artwork to complement their homes' interiors.

I often develop large mixed media collages. I then digitally re-work portions of these collages and I extrapolate ideas for further visual research in the form of digital and/or mixed media artwork.

All designs/artwork are protected by copyright.
